Luck as a subjective essence in Blogging

By Paul Dooley

Luck plays a significant role when it comes to creating a successful post in my blogs. What I mean by 'successful post' is that I feel happy with my writing, happy that I have I got adequate and or correct links and most of all that the picture and or video works without a hitch.

In my blog 'nevertheless' I generally do one or at times two or three posts a day. Its rare for me to publish two, and rarer still to publish three posts in a day, since I invented the idea near to when I first began that there is some one thing that either speaks of the day or that personally touches me or my conscience.

Frequently I find myself immersed in way to many ideas and/or stories that its difficult to decide which offers readers a contemporary insightful essence or serves the greater good among them the most.

So it seems luck plays a sometimes significant role in my decisions. Lucky that the links, the video and the writing works. But I consider myself to be lucky in that I have a few geeky and not so geeky friends (who always wish to remain anonymous), that, each in their own small but definitive ways on the one hand help me solve issues and on the other urge in me in one direction or another, although they only seem to be available on a lucky day or way from time to time.

Luck as it were, is not always present when you most require it. On those days I seem to discard all of those possible posts and jump in at the other end and google a random idea or thought and at times luck enters by me having located a worthy story. Alternatively I may visit the big story aggregators like Digg, Delicious or Reddit among others and possibly more-so by chance discover a thought provoking or interesting story that spurs my imagination.

Luck though is not necessarily always a precondition for me making posts or blogging, often it sits in the background perhaps more-so as an unconscious essence. I'm certainly not totally aware of it most of the time, it just happens or not, and when things, as they do at times, go askew, I bail out and go for a walk or do something different.

Contributor's Note

I must say that I have not experienced much luck in writing this today, likely since its Christmas I have been interrupted often half way through a train of thought, and hope that I have managed to make a little sense!

Luck is not meant to be a precondition, but rather the results of your fine work.
Good intel.

Thank you Frederick.

Do you think your/our luck is all part of our vision of what our lives should be. Why not look into the the 12 universal laws and the 21 sub laws of existence and take control of your own destiny. In other words make your own luck happen as you want it to.
Thanks for the followback.

OK Reg, I just googled "12 universal laws and the 21 sub laws of existence" and found not so much of a hint as to what they are? Perhaps you can post the link here?
